We are in the process of setting up our nonprofit organization and will have a way to accept donations while allowing you to have a tax write off for it.
We are a volunteer organization who wants to help players understand the fundamentals of baseball in order to bring more joy to their game.
We seek donations for equipment, field time, and insurance. We also are growing a list of “like to have” items like hats and shirts for the club. The links to the prducts are suggestions only; if you can find something similar for a cheaper price, we would gladly accept.
We are in the process of becoming a nonprofit organization, so we are not able to offer any tax write offs for donations until we have been approved.

Various Training Supplies - Wish List
I created a Wish List that lists all the items we need that can be found on Amazon. Even just purchasing one of these items will help us tremendously. These items will help improve fundamentals by increasing neuro-muscle coordination while tracking progress along the way. Different weights (heavy and light) will increase strength and speed. And resistance can improve warm-up and recovery quality and promote good athletic health.

Batting Bag
There are punching bags, but here we have a batting bag. Sometimes it’s hard for players to understand the power of their swing. It’s obvious that they are strong, but their swing is weak for various reasons. This tool will illustrate their strength and help them improve it.

Field Reservation & Insurance
Reserving field time is a must to keep location and time consistent throughout the session. Oakland Parks and Rec will charge about $1000 for 8 weeks of field time.
Reservations cannot be made without liability insurance. This comes at various prices, but $500 will cover it per year.
HPF Custom Hats - Adjustable
Lowest priority of all. I think a hat really makes a club. We want to get hats for all club members with our logo on them. To get these adjustable hats just under $20 each, we need to order 50 for good price break. This will last us around 5 years.

Baseballs
Baseballs are the common factor in throwing, batting and fielding. We are looking to get 50 balls to run an efficient practice. Renewing this supply year after year is important so we don’t use worn balls that are torn at the seams. Used ball are recommended. No new balls needed.

Pitching Machine
This machine allows the players to get a consistent pitch to swing at from a height that is truer to the players that would pitch to them in a game. It also saves the arm of the coaches.
